We have just released a new version of the Graphical Harp Tool. It now supports glissandos across an entire chord.
Simply write the initial interval or chord you want the harp to glissando from. Then write the top note of the final chord.

The Harp Tool automatically spells the glissando and creates glissando lines for every note in the chord.

It also inserts the MIDI messages (via text commands) required for playback, so you can hear the effect in your score.
Built with Professional Harp Writing in Mind
The Graphical Harp Tool is a collaboration with Hollywood film and concert composer Lior Rosner, whose credits include this year's #1 hit movie Michael.

Drawing on his experience as a composer and arranger, the tool grew directly out of real-world professional workflows.
Whether you're preparing scores for live performance, mockups, or both, the Graphical Harp Tool helps you produce clean, professional harp notation in Sibelius.

What is your next notation tool?
The Graphical Harp Tool actually began as a custom tool commission. If you have a task—whether simple or complex—that Sibelius doesn't solve natively, I'd love to hear about it. Get in touch and describe your workflow. I'll personally give you feedback, let you know whether it's possible, and explain what it would involve.
